Catching Cairo is a North London-born singer and songwriter known for her soulful, sultry vocals in drum and bass and UK electronic music. Her voice appears on releases from labels including SHY FX’s Digital Soundboy, Chase & Status’ MTA Records, Hospital, Rinse, Maison Kitsuné, Spearhead and Critical Music, with roots in the UK bass underground since the early 2010s. She draws from Motown, reggae, 90s R&B and UK garage influences, and has issued EPs while completing headline tours.
