Privacy policy

    You decide what to share

At TiGLr, your privacy comes first. You decide what you want to share, from festival attendance to friendships, groups, and media.

    Friends and groups

Friend requests are always mutual: without mutual approval there is no connection. Your friends list is private and only visible to people you have accepted as friends.

Groups have their own privacy settings. Public groups are discoverable, private groups are invite-only. In each group the owner decides who can join and what information is shared.

    Per-person visibility

There are 5 different privacy settings:

    • Visible — full profile, avatar and shared festivals are visible. Default between friends and shared group members.
    • Limited — only your name and which festivals you attend are visible. No avatar, no other activity. This is the default for strangers.
    • Follow — you see their activity, they do not see yours.
    • Mute — they see your activity, you do not see theirs.
    • Invisible — you cannot see or contact each other.

    Messages and chat

Conversations in Tiglr are restricted end-to-end to their participants. Group chats are only visible to members of that group. Messages are sent encrypted and we only store chat history for as long as necessary for the app to work.

    Location and presence

Your location is never shared automatically. Realtime presence on a festival timetable or map is only visible when you activate it yourself, and only to people within the context you choose (for example friends at the same festival).

    Favorites and listening status

DJ favorites, track likes, and your SoundCloud listening status are shared among friends.

    Drugs Logbook

Your logbook is fully private. Logbook entries are stored encrypted; even we cannot view the contents without your permission.

    Uploads are only for you

Every photo and video you upload is immediately and by default only visible to you as the uploader. You can decide later who to share your photos and videos with. You can change or revoke access at any time.

    Deletion by anyone with access

Anyone with access to shared photos and videos can delete any photo or video they can access. This way everyone involved keeps control over what appears in the album.

    Notifications

Push notifications and emails are only sent for functionality you activate (for example friend requests, group invitations, or festival reminders). You can turn each notification type on or off per category in your preferences.

    Encryption and security

All traffic between your device and TiGLr runs over HTTPS/TLS. Nobody on the network can eavesdrop or tamper with the contents.

Photos, videos, messages, and databases are stored encrypted at our storage providers. Access is limited to strictly necessary system processes.

    What we do not do

    • We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
    • We do not show your media, location, or activity to other users unless you share it.
    • We do not use your photos, videos, or behavioural data for ads or model training.
    • We do not track you across the web with third-party cookies or trackers.

    Your rights

You can have your account and all associated data fully deleted at any time via your profile menu. This includes profile information, media, messages, friendships, and all historical data. Questions or requests can be sent via the in-app support channels.

This page is maintained by TiGLr and describes the privacy controls active in the app. This is not an independent certification.
